Due to IATF stringent measures brought about by the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Education totally banned the conduct of face to face graduation ceremonies for the graduating class of 2021 and urged the schools and the parents to use the online platform instead.

It can be recalled that last school year's schools' conduct of end of school year rites, awarding and graduating ceremonies were all abruptly put on halt as the whole nation was put into Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).

Zaida came into this world and served in a number of roles and relationships. She was a daughter, a sister, a friend, a faithful wife, a mother, an aunt, and a dedicated teacher.

The saddest event in life is losing people who are very dear to us, like Zaida.

Zaida was the second child of the late Mr. Arnold Tamanu and Mrs. Teresa Corpuz Tamanu. She was 50 years ago on March 23, 1971. She started her formal education at Cabaritan Elementary School and finished her secondary education at Northeastern Academy.As a daughter of a teacher, she also dreamed to become one. After four long years of study, she successfully passed the Professional Board Examinations for Teachers and was employed as a permanent teacher on June 1993 at Paddaya Elementary School and taught there for 15 years before going back to her own alma mater Cabaritan Elementary School and served there for almost 12 years until her untimely demise.

She is married to Donel Ziganay, a policeman and a native of Sanchez Mira, Cagayan. They got married last September 27, 1997 and were blessed of three sons: Donel Jay, Donel, Jr., and Christopher.

Zaida is an active and dedicated teacher. She is a constant winning coach who always garnered first rank in academic contest like Science Quiz Bee, and MTAP. She often represented the district in the division level as the winning coach.

We grew up together.
