As part of the Brigada Eskwela Program 2022, Libas Elementary School in cooperation with Philippine Red Cross, conducted Mass Blood Donation Project last August 25, 2022. This seek to strengthen the stakeholders collaboration, give opportunities to donate and raise public awareness on the benefits of blood donation.
Nature provide us natural healing particularly emotional health. The presence of flowers triggers healthy emotions, hightens life satisfaction and affects social behavior in a positive manner far beyond what is normally believe.
In support to the Project Bloom of San Carlos City Division headed by Schools Division Superintendent, DR. Lourdes D. Servito, Libas Elementary School launched its own project entitled Project AROMA, which stands for Adorable flowers Refresh One's heart a Majestic creation from Above. This project aims to make the school full of flowering plants that are refreshing to the eyes of every stakeholders.
In response to the Division Memorandum 029 s. 2023 of San Carlos City Division, Libas Elementary School actively implemented the Project Zero N2. This is an innovation that will help our learners to have the ability to understand and work with numbers. It seeks to improve the quality of basic education particularly in Mathematics students' learning outcomes. This project aims to make Mathematics teaching-learning fun and engaging, improve the numeracy skills of primary grade learners and build the learners confidence through easy and fun Mathematics activities.
All students from grades 1 to 3 were meticulously assessed to identify their level of numeracy. Then we will conduct and implement the necessary remediation in order to address to their individual needs. We at Libas Elementary School positively believe that with the 3 months given by the Division, we can surpass the challenge of having zero non-numerates.
As stated in DepEd Order No. 034, s. 2022 titled School Calendar of Activities for the School Year 2022-2023, Midyear Performance Review and Evaluation was conducted on February 6-7, 2023 at LIbas Elementary School. This was held through the cooperative efforts of Libas Elementary School Personnel headed by our school principal, Ricardo M. Torio, Jr. and our two Master Teachers, Imelda M. De Vera and Romy E. de Loyola.
This aims to assess the strength and weaknesses of the school personnel and address their needs towards more effective working habits and professional development.
After thorough evaluation of teachers' performance, a 3-day In-Service Training for teachers was conducted on February 8-10 2023 at Libas Elementary School. This was intended for the improvement, growth and development of the teachers.

It has been a very productive training. All the teachers in Libas Elementary School were actively engaged and participated. They all work collaboratively and shared their knowledge and ideas to their colleagues regarding the topics. They also come up with an output which they can able to use to better serve their learners.
As we all say learning is a continuous process and there is always a room for improvement, we are looking forward for the next training which always bring out the best in every teacher in Libas Elementary School.
In support to the advocacy of Philippine National Police, San Carlos City Station to combat the alarming rise of sexual assault or rape cases in the City, Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias initiates/spearheads the OPLAN SAGIP ( Sama-sama, Alagaan, Gabayan ang bawat isa para ma-Iwasan ang Panggagahasa) Project.
