Connecting a Headset to the Computer
On the computer, launch the Meta Quest Developer app. Log in to your account. If you do not have a MQDH account, view this page.
Grab a white USB to USBC cable in the storage closet.
Connect the VR headset to the computer by unplugging the external battery and utilizing the cable.
On the computer, the headset should now be visible under the "Device Manager" page of the Meta Quest Developer App.
Put on the headset and allow the connection to the computer. A window will pop up within the headset asking for you to grant permission for the connection.
Once you have allowed the connection, select the "Cast" option next to "Cast Device" on the Meta Quest Developer App on the computer.
Adjust the viewing settings to your preferences.
Tip: Inside the Meta Quest 3 headset, you can allow the passthrough camera to be active during this process. This can make connecting easier as you won't have to keep taking the headset on and off.
