Who can participate in this challenge?
This challenge is open to all DePauw students, regardless of class year, major, or affiliation with the ITAP and the Tenzer Technology Center.
What if I cannot pick up the cards during the specified times?
Cards will only be distributed during one of the three card pick up times (see this page for details) so please plan accordingly. Pick up should only take a couple minutes; no requirement to hang around or do anything else in the Center during your visit.
How many cards can I get for the challenge?
One. We will provide one card per student during the mentioned days and times. So please keep your card safe.
When is the deadline to complete the challenge?
December 4th. Visit the Tenzer NFC Challenge table in the UB Living Room between 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. on December 4th to get it verified and to be entered into the prize drawing. More details can be found here under "Important Information".
How do I enter for a prize draw?
On the Card Verification Day (Dec 4th), we will use our phones to read your card and verify if there is a working URL written to it. If yes, you will be eligible to enter for a prize draw.
When and how will the prize winners be announced?
We will perform the draw at 6:15 p.m. as part of the Tenzer De-stressor Event on December 4th in the UB Living Room. If you attend the drawing in person, you can claim your prize at that time. But you need not be present to win; we will contact you for prize distribution if you are not present. Additionally, we will update the results on our Instagram (@tenzercenterdpu) and on this website.
