Meet Your School Counselor

Hello, I'm so glad you're here! My name is Conchita McCarrell. I grew up in Holly Creek, Oklahoma. I am a graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where I received my Masters of Education in School Counseling. Before pursuing my passion for school counseling, I obtained my Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education from East Central University. I begin my career in education in 2005 and have been with the Denison district since 2013.

As an Oklahoma native, I love the life that McCurtain County has to offer. When there is a free moment, my husband and I enjoy spending time with our two children camping, traveling, working on home improvement projects, volunteering, and gardening.
