Train in Trades
Train in Trades is a dual credit program for Grades 11 and 12. Students who are accepted receive elective credits, post-secondary credits, and Industry Training Authority (ITA) apprenticeship training. In addition, tuition is paid by the Delta School District for partnership programs. Students can earn 8-24 graduation credits.
Train in Trades is the technical training component of an industry training apprenticeship for secondary school students. Training is completed in the classroom and shop to complete Level 1.
Some benefits of the Train in Trades program include:
Head start on a career in a skilled trade
Registration as an apprentice with the ITA (Industry Training Authority)
Elective graduation credits
Post-secondary dual credit registration at a programs offered at BCIT, Kwantlen, and VCC
Tuition is paid for by the school district

Construction electrician
Auto Service Technician 1
Professional Cook 1
Carpenter
Millwright/Industrial Mechanic
Welder
Baking and Pastry Arts
Motorcycle and Power Equipment Technician
Plumber
Metal Fabricator
Auto Refinishing Prep Technician
Commercial Painter
