Work Experience
Gain experience in the career field of your choice and earn credits towards graduation
Gain employability skills through 90 hours of unpaid work experience with local employers
Allows students to prepare for the transition from secondary school into the working-world
Train in Trades
​Students take dual credit courses towards high school graduation and completion of an apprenticeship
Completion of Youth Train in Trades programs earns credits towards high school graduation as well as a post-secondary credential
Enrolment is paid for by the Delta School District; students may be responsible for costs such as materials and equipment
Work in Trades
Opportunity to 'earn while you learn'
Dual credits towards both high school graduation and apprenticeship on-the-job training hours; and students will be PAID for their work experience
Students will work and attend high school at the same time - earning up to 16 credits towards graduation
