Grade 8 Quebec Trip

Every year at the end of April, Burnsview's French Immersion grade 8 students embark on an incredible journey to Quebec City! 

Accompanying teachers and students travel together and stay five nights and six days at l'Auberge du Mont, a private school 30 minutes north of Quebec City with a hotel wing. 

All while immersed in the French language, students visit a beautiful city and region. Francophone guides help animate the many activities that include but are not limited to: 

• a tour of the Château Frontenac

• exploration of the Plains of Abraham and Martello Tower

• a visit to Wendake, a vibrant First Nations community

• circus training at Cirque du Soleil

• shopping along the historic rue Saint-Jean

Information for the 2026 experience is ready! There will be a parent and student information session on October 16, 2025 at 6:30pm in Burnsview's cafeteria!
