What is Concours ?

Concours d'art oratoire is a public speaking event sponsored by Canadian Parents for French. Every year, students at all grade levels research and write a speech on a subject of their choice. Lasting 3 to 5 minutes, participants share their speeches and have the opportunity to advance to district finals, regional finals and beyond. It is an incredible opportunity for students to come together and support each other in French public speaking. 

For the 2025-2026 school year, Burnsview is hosting the district finals at 5pm on Thursday, March 6, 2026. Bonne chance à tous les participants !
