The Delsea High School English department seeks to inspire and extend students’ worldview beyond their individual lives as well as provide a solid foundation for continuing education, career readiness, and practical applications. Through high-quality instruction, students develop and hone transferable skills, such as writing, reading comprehension, critical analysis, and communication. By developing their ability to be discerning readers, writers, and thinkers, students are prepared to consider and navigate the complex, fluid, and varied viewpoints that shape their world.
