In her free time, Estefanía loves to dance, enjoy walks in nature, and spend quality time with her friends. She also cherishes the moments spent on video calls with her family, staying connected with them despite the distance. Kassiyet has been at University of British Columbia for 1 year. The best part about her role is combine her interests in business and computer science while being part of a diverse community. Something Kassiyet is professionally proud of is one of the 19 International Scholars awarded a prestigious full-ride scholarship with an acceptance rate of less than 2%. One of her goals is leverage her skills in both business and technology to create innovative solutions that address real-world challenges. Something unique about Kassiyet is she founded an ENACTUS club in her hometown in Kazakhstan, where she led projects that provided educational opportunities to rural students and became a National ENACTUS semifinalist.
