Wearing headphones or earbuds will allow you to focus on our lessons and tune out all of the background noise in your house. Even if your house is quiet, wearing headphones can be very helpful. You may even consider playing quiet music (with no lyrics) in the background while you work.
Try to find a quiet spot in your home where you can sit comfortably for a long period of time (like a desk). Clear the space so it's basically empty except for the things you need.
Try to stick to a schedule. Wake up, get dressed, eat breakfast, set up your computer, work until break, etc. When you repeat the same tasks at the same time, it helps you stay focused and stay motivated.
Step away from the screen when it's break time or if you finish a task early. Read a book, dance, play with toys, chat with your family, anything to help your body and mind get away from the computer screen.
If you have notebooks, keep separate notes for each subjects, sort your email, use Google Calendar, make "to-do lists", print off the class timetable, etc. Help yourself remember things that you need to do and times that you need to be online.
Learning at school is hard enough when there is a teacher in the room shared between 20+ students. Learning online is WAY HARDER! You are expected to do everything independently, but your still have a teacher online. Ask me questions if you notice you don't understand something and we can chat in Hangouts or even video chat if needed.
