1. Listen and follow directions.

• Watch all videos posted, read all instructions CAREFULLY
• Listen during video calls and pay attention
• No eating, no toys, no pets, no family in the room (if possible), no online games, no watching videos, etc. (stay focused)

2. Stay visible on screen at all times during the lesson.

• Be ready to share/participate when it's your turn (have your slides open to the current lesson)
• Keep your camera on unless you're instructed to turn it off so that I know you are there and paying attention

3. Use digital hand-raising and wait to be called on.

• Keep your mic MUTED when you are in our class Zoom call
• Click the "raise hand" button on Zoom if you wish to speak

4. Be respectful to your classmates and your teacher.

• Use your manners (please, thank you, etc.) when typing/speaking
• Polite and kind comments only

1. First Consequence: Warning

• I will say your name and the rule you broke
• I will tell you that is your first warning

2. Second Consequence: Unable to Participate

• I will say your name and the rule you broke
• I will tell you that this is the second time I've had to speak to you and that you will be muted
• You will not be allowed to share your ideas or ask questions for 10 minutes

3. Third Consequence: Parents Notified

• I will say your name and the rule you broke
• I will tell you that this is the third time I've had to speak to you and that you will be placed in the waiting room
• You will see a screen that says you are in the waiting room
• You will stay in the waiting room for 10 minutes
• I will send an e-mail to your parents explaining what happened

I expect you to make mistakes (we all do). I also expect you to learn from them!
