As a college student in Delhi, India, I took part in the city’s emerging hip hop scene where artists use their music to speak out against the injustices they’ve faced as members of poor and minority communities, I witnessed performers who were the children of street fruit vendors and rickshaw drivers come together to speak their truths and practice their craft. But these opportunities were few and far between. Living in communities of immense poverty, many young artists lack access to spaces where they can congregate: so they are forced to find alleys or sneak into closed shopping malls for practice. I used my thesis project as an opportunity to design a space where young people could join each other to appreciate all forms of art, like music, dance, theatre, fine arts, and literature, without regard to their financial status. I grappled with how to create a space that would be sustainable and viable for future generations. The answer came to me as I attended a football match on a college trip to Goa.I realized that one possible path forward could be to build a multi-purpose football stadium in the hub of the city which would avoid crowding concerns, be reachable, and tie the under-resourced arts to the thriving sports sector. I used the spirituality underlying the Metatron’s Cube as a tool to develop my design, keeping football at the centre surrounded by the art academy. Spaces were designed for activities like theatre, fine arts, dance, music, literature, and Goan native arts around the football turf. The Metatron’s Cube metaphorically symbolises the connection between small or insignificant things. It has five sacred geometries which surround the centre. Each geometry represents a classical element like air, fire, water, These are connected with arts like music, theatre, dance, respectively.

Criminal Correction Centre
“It is said that no one can truly knows a nation until one has been inside its jails. A nation should not be judged on how it treats its highest citizens, but it’s lowest ones.”- Nelson MandelaThree out of four prisoners come out of prisons and re-join the society. But do they have adequate skills to become a part of this social stratum again? Are they reformed enough to take up the path of justice and pride-filled life? Or will they go back onto the tracks of crime and injustice?Captivity has been in our society for centuries. Starting from immediate execution to holding culprits till their death sentences to isolating them in dungeons and retarded buildings with no social interaction till death or to torture and capture them in prisons of various kinds. Today, the world looks upon prisoners with a very different perspective and an increase in awareness about human rights have led to drastic changes in prison Architecture and Lifestyle.Today, prisons tend to serve two major purposes, which are protecting society from criminals by taking away their free will for doing any sort of work but also, rehabilitating prisoners to training them to become self – equipped to live a high-head held life. But, in the current scenario of over-congestion and fund-lacked institutions along with scarcity in number of officials as well as technology and technique for such reformation, could make us achieve the target of leaving prisons as monuments for future and prisoners being treated and reformed in criminal correction centers, which are nil at present but can be the future of prison architecture in India? The world certainly needs better way to punish and rehabilitate the prisoners. Unfortunately, our country lacks a dedicated facility to address the rising concern for prisoner rehabilitation. Can you imagine people getting better in the same environment in which they became worse? No, Right? Here is when Criminal correction Centre comes into play. An institute where one is not a prisoner but someone who is under a constant care and observation to give her/him a hope; a hope for bright future; a hope that they can also be a part of the society post their release. From the above lines, it is hereby stated that Social Re-integration is only possible after re-defining captive methods. Our old-age stereotypical captive methods may be good enough for holding the prisoner but same can’t be applied for correcting oneself. Many recent studies show that an inclination towards rehabilitation is on rise as the existing prisons are becoming over-congested. In these over-congested scenarios, separating better from good is like separating salt from sand. Therefore, this Centre aims to monitor and evolve such better persons to learn and control themselves from not performing same steps in future which brought them here. A series of activities and free-environment can give great hope to a person who is willing to change and move towards a healthy, bright future.

RITIKA SHARMA AEROHIVE: A MIXED USED SKYSCRAPER
The aim of the thesis was to design a skyscraper that will not only create space, but also craft the environment. Aero refers to things or activities connected with air or movement through the air. Hive means a place where a lot of activity there or that people are busy working there. Thus term "AEROHIVE" refers to a tall building and it's relation with environment. The project includes retail space, commercial space (Hotel and offices), residential and recreational areas which would attract considerable footfall. Thus, generating high revenues. This idea is well suited to today's scenario as demand for retail space, offices and high rise residential towers is in vogue. The reason to choose this was as we all know population flock to urban center's looking for work, leaves cities short of affordable housing, transport links and can either lead to inner-city poverty or urban sprawl. High Rise mixed development offers solution to both problems by maximizing the number of people that can live and work on fixed amount of available rent. So, Here FEATHER is compared with the building structure as Feathers are designed to be light but very strong, flexible but very tough. Thus, the stem of the feather is compared with core of the building and curve profile defines the initial boundary of skyscraper.

YUVRAJ VOHRAPLASTIC RESEARCH AND RECYCLE CENTRE“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them” – Albert Einstein Plastics are high-performance material with very different properties and can be found in the world around us in many different forms and applications. Today plastics are generally artificially produced. The German name for plastic, “Kunststoff”, meaning “artificial material”, became more widely known with the publication of a journal of the same name in 1911. Besides the synthetic manufacture of materials, one of the most important motivation for the development of plastics was to be able to optimise special material properties. In recent years, plastics have begun to experience a renaissance in the field of architecture. Manufacturing building elements and components for technical and constructional installations, for example piping and insulation, plastics are increasingly being used as high-performance materials for supporting structure and building skins. Special building elements with complex geometries are on the area where plastics are widely used. Plastics are often regarded as a lower-quality, non-biodegradable, hazardous material. In fact, all of this not true, plastics are high-performance material with excellent and diverse properties for the emergence of innovative plastic architecture.Plastic has proven to be very durable and has many advantages which can be used in the construction world for cost effective designs and modern forms. Approximately, 8 million Tonnes of Plastic waste in generated in India each year, and it is estimated to cross 10 million Tonnes by 2025. Amount of overall plastic being recycled in India in 20% of the produced. Need for using recycling plastic in architecture is because of the vast spread of construction field and consumption of recycled material can be done at a satisfying level.
Plastic is Strong They are durable, knock and scratch resistant with excellent Weatherability and plastics do not rot or corrode.
Plastics are Lightweight They are easy to transport, manoeuvre and handle.
Plastics offer design freedom A boundless exhibit of shapes is possible and Products can be coloured, opaque or transparent, rigid or adaptable.
Plastics have a variety of Waste management options Plastics building items can be reused with low energy inputs and when this isn't possible, it can be utilized in energy from waste plans.
Plastics score highly in environmental assessments Plastics materials are an efficient use of resources and are rated exceedingly in BRE's 'Green Manual for Specification'.
Plastics are cost effective Favourable whole-life costs and offer a combination of durability, quality, low maintenance and labour saving
Thus, the collective Aim of the thesis turns out to:
Propose a facility to research on plastic recycling and showcase the processes to increase awareness about the benefits of plastic as a material.
Propose a factory unit to recycle plastic on various stages and for various uses.
The objectives which the author tries to fulfil are:
To design factory unit with multiple workshops for production of various recycled plastic products.
To design a research facility to study about plastic recycling and exhibiting the process.
To use recycled plastic for onsite construction for different blocks and landscapes.
