Starting this year, all payments will be made through our travel company, Scholastica.

To reserve a spot on the trip:

1. Register and pay non-refundable deposit of $100 with Scholastica (via their website), AND

2. Complete and return the permission form to DC advisor by Sept. 16, 2025

*Any permission cards AND payments received after Sept. 16 will result in the student being placed on the waiting list. 

EXPENSES

The necessary scheduling and preparations for the eighth grade trip will be made by Scholastica Travel Inc.  The cost per student is $814.00 and this will cover everything except one meal on the way there and one meal on the return trip.

Tour Fare Includes:

1. Three nights lodging

2. Tax at hotel

3. 9 meals (3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 3 dinners)

4. Round-trip motorcoach transportation and transportation for all sightseeing per itinerary

5. Licensed Washington guide for all sightseeing per itinerary

6. Tickets for a tour of Gettysburg

7. Group picture for each person on tour

8. All admission fees per itinerary

9. Complete insurance including:  $5,000 Emergency Medical, $1,000 Life, and $250 Dental

10. Security guard on duty each night from 11:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M.
