As teacher leaders, library media specialists are often called upon to deliver professional learning for other staff. Necessarily, LMS's must be lifelong learners themselves, using research-based and vetted information to foster and share new learning in literacy, technology, and curricular topics.
Vision - The DeForest Area School District is committed to a culture that honors knowledge, respects individuals, demands excellence, fosters life-long learning, and supports relationships that strengthen individuals, families and community.
Belief Statement: Learning Process - We believe a commitment to continuous improvement and personal and organizational accountability are essential to the educational process.
Our Culture - We expect hard work, risk taking and continuous growth.
