As stewards of both district funds and the state-managed Common School Fund, library media specialists are strategic managers who aim to be both efficient and effective in the use of budget and resources. From budget planning to collection management to the deselection of resources, we are hands-on with every step of a library material's life cycle. Ensuring that students and staff have access to a relevant, up-to-date collection that meets their educational and personal needs is central to our ongoing work.
