Briarpatch offers a Parent Support Program that meets the 1st Thursday of each month from 6-7p on Zoom and the 3rd Tuesday of each month, from 6-7p on Zoom. For Parent Support and Parent Support Group/Program please contact the Program Manager for an in-person intake meeting. The Parent Support Program services are designed to assist concerned parents and caregivers of a youth or young adult experienceing one or more of the following challenges:
Drug or alcohol abuse
Mental Health challenges
Truancy and academic problems
Chronic runaway behaviors
Physical violence and abusive behaviors
Self-harm and cutting
Parent/child conflict
Difficulty with interpersonal relationships
CASE MANAGEMENT:
Short-term case management services offered to address parent/youth conflict
Consultation
Brief family counseling
Referrals and Resources

What is a Certified Peer Support Specialist?
A Peer Support Specialist is someone with lived experience of mental health challenges, substance use, or trauma who is trained to provide support, encouragement, and guidance to others facing similar situations, often focusing on recovery and wellness.

The Behavioral Health and Recovery Clinic located in Madison, helps young people and adults who are beginning their recovery.
