Research shows that fear of judgement, a lack of confidence and a lack of time stops many women from being as active as they would like.  For these reasons, Granville Academy has committed to participating in our second This Girl Campaign.  This campaign aims to celebrate activity and inspire more women to be active.  As part of our campaign, the Creative Faculty would like to invite your child to take part in our This Girl Can activities. These activities can be found on the timetable of events tab at the top of this page and are open to both male and female students.

The campaign has successfully persuaded more students to get more active – but our work isn’t done yet!

This year, we are also aiming to focus on challenging conventionally stereotypical views about careers for men and women which exist,  in order to raise the aspirations of all our students.
