The goal of the Black Student Union is to build acceptance and tolerance about others while learning about ourselves. The Black Student Union at Deer Park High School is committed to promoting cultural, social, and ethnic diversity. BSU’s focus is to build awareness and education regarding issues students face on a daily basis. Students participate in volunteer, community service, and social activities. This group is in no way limited to students of African/African-American descent.
