Creating a 3D printed monument is an extension to the History Hall of Fame Has Its Eyes on You project.
- Using TinkerCAD, create a “monument” dedicated to your chosen historical figure. This should NOT be a statue of the person, but rather a representation (think the Washington Monument). You will also write at least one paragraph explaining why you designed your monument the way that you did, and how it honors the person.

- Create 2D sketch, if needed
- Design 3D model in Tinkercad
- Keep design small (under 6 inches L x W x H)
- Keep it simple
- Don’t be afraid to ask questions! We’re all learning this together!
- Email completed .STL file to both Mr. Medeiros & Mrs. Johnson
- Mrs. Johnson will send 3D design to printer

- Cloud-based software: can print from anywhere
- Self-removing: can set up print queue and print overnight
- No direct access by students: ALL print jobs approved by teacher
- Who can use it? Any interested DHS teacher!
