February is just around the corner, and so is our 3rd quarter class! Join us for some fun & fascinating inquiry for grades K-7! Our K-3 students will be working with Lilly Jensen to explore water & earth science, and Kelly will be working with grades 4-7 on another Engineering is Everywhere unit on how to create ice cream!
- Grades K-3 - Lilly Jensen will bring her creative energy to our primary grade learners as they explore water and earth science.
- Grades 4-7 - Students will be working through the engineering design process to develop their own ice cream recipes as well as create packaging to protect their ice cream creations from melting under heat. Please let me know if there are any food allergies/sensitivities we need to consider when making our ice cream.
Here are calendar details:
- Dates: Monday-Thursday, February 5-8
- Time: 9:30-11:30 each day
We'll meet in the multipurpose room at Carrie Lee (we'll split into two groups from there) for four days of fun & learning together.
Students should plan to bring along a snack and water bottle for each day since we will plan to have a snack and movement break half-way through the morning.
