Look out Kindergarten, Here I come!

The transition to Kindergarten is a milestone, for both children and their parents/guardians. Kindergarten brings big changes for kids. This is often the first time children have been away from their parents/guardians, in a large group setting, and expected to be fairly independent. Children respond differently to these changes; some are excited by new experiences and can’t wait,  while others have a tough time with change and are nervous. Our team has compiled some things to work on with your child over the summer to make their transition a little easier. When children have practiced and feel prepared, they are better able to enjoy new experiences.
