Uxbridge Figure Skating Club Ice Show

Uxbridge Arena May 13, 8am-5pm

The Uxbridge Skating Club is looking for high school students who are interested in helping with the set up, running, and/or take down of our ice show. Willing participants must be able to dedicate at least 3 hours of time (more if you are able!), either in the morning or afternoon, starting at 8am and finishing around 5pm. If you are interested, please contact us via email with your name, contact information, and availability by Saturday, May 5th.

Joseph Gould Fun Fair


This event is perfect for our Uxbridge Tigers to help out at their younger "neighbours" Fun Fair and earn some Community Service Hours! 

JGPS' Fun Fair will have Face Painting, Zoo To You, Tattoo Station, Haunted House, Bake Sale, Assorted Games and Food Stations, Uxbridge Fire Truck, Raffle Baskets, Silent Auction, etc. 

We need volunteers for Ticket taking at activity stations, handing out food, monitoring play stations 

This event will earn 3 service hours. Student volunteers are welcome to help set up & tear down to earn extra hours. 

June 1, 2023 from 5-8pm. ~15-20 volunteers

Uxbrdige Library Reading Buddies Program


High School aged volunteers are needed to be Big Buddies for our Reading Buddies program Grades 1-3!

Spring Session runs from April 11th to June 1st.


Receive 1.5 hours of volunteer time per week for a total of 13 towards high school requirements.

Required to arrive by 3:45 pm

Uxbridge Hospital Auxiliary has been affording students the opportunity to complete their required volunteer hours for several years. Our involvement with patients has changed since COVID, but there are still positions available such as Wayfinding (directing patients/visitors to the required location eg Emergency or Registration for appointments), 

Times will vary depending on activity, shifts are 8am to 11:30am, 11:30 am to 3pm, 3pm to 6pm, 6pm to 7pm

Uxbridge Clays Target Sports

Looking for students for approximately 20-25 hours/week on Wednesdays and Sundays. After school, summer or year round employment possible.

Description: loading clay targets into machines, changing and charging machine batteries, general property maintenance. Supervisor always on site, mentoring and training provided

Qualifications: Fit and able to lift up to 20kg repeatedly, ability to work independently, able to drive a side by side Kubota ATV, must enjoy outside work environment. Interest and ability with mechanical systems is a plus!
