Proud To Be Indigenous Student Day
With the support of the D.D.S.B. Indigenous Education Department, Keenanow Indigenous Employee Network plans a student day each year, that takes place in June, which is Indigenous Awareness Month. This is our biggest event so far, as a network. Our focus is always to have our Indingenous students (and their close allies) gain opportunities to connect with and learn from knowledge keepers and cultural ambassadars from the local community and beyond. Student's get the chance to learn about the diversity among various Indigenous communities that are represented through the wonderful and special guests that we are very honoured to be able invite and host at our student day.
