Gerrit´s testimony

In my voluntary year in Ústí nad Labem, I had many valuable and great experiences I will never forget. If at work or in my free time. At work, I had the possibility to try various activities and finally do the ones I liked most. For example, I taught German to different people, organized a language

café, volunteered at sports events, or visited a resident of an elderly home. In my free time, I discovered different parts of the Czech Republic and the beautiful nature around the city. Otherwise, I spent much time with the other volunteers in Ústí and in the cities around. I was also a mentor to Kelvin, our French volunteer, which was a very interesting experience.
