The Intervention Team develops short and long-term intervention plans based upon the specific needs of individual students. The team works in the classroom (group settings) as well as working one-on-one to build cognitive, social, physical, and emotional skills.
The Early Childhood Intervention team offers a range of services and supports for young students with developmental delays or disabilities.
The three main goals of early intervention:
Positive social-emotional skills (including social relationships)
Acquisition and use of knowledge and skills (including early language/communication [and early literacy])
Use of appropriate behaviors to meet their needs
