Central Community College - Columbus, Hastings, Grand Island, & Kearney Center - CCC has over $1.3 in scholarships available for their students.  First go to: cccneb.edu/financialaid   Second: Create an account or log in  Third: Complete the application  Applicants will be considered for all eligible scholarships.  Deadline is March 1st.

University of Nebraska at Kearney Honors Program - Students with an ACT at 30 or above and are in the top 10% of their class should apply to the Honors Program by November 15 to be considered for one of the most prestigious scholarships at UNK (the Omaha World Herald/Kearney Hub Scholarship).  www.unk.edu/honors

KHOP (Kearney Health Opportunities Program) - This is in cooperation between UNK and the University of Nebraska Medical Center in order to recruit and retain medical professionals in rural Nebraska. UNK Opportunity Fund Scholarship - Due March 25 - Full tuition & renewable through a Bachelor's degree at UNK.  Criteria includes:  High School graduate from a Class C or D Nebraska High School - Must be admitted to UNK - Must NOT have any other scholarships from UNK.

Chadron State College - CSC offers a variety of scholarships based upon academic ability and extracurricular activities. January 15 csc.edu/finaid

Wayne State College Art & Design Scholarship-Must submit: 10 high resolution jpgs of your artwork in any media, application form, letter expressing interest, two sealed letters of recommendation, application packet. Nov. 15th Visit www.wsc.edu/art-design for more information.

Wayne State College-RLOP Rural Law Opportunities Program- Wayne State College has a new partnership with the UNL College of Law.  The program is much like RHOP (Rural Health Opportunities Program) in that high school seniors interested in going to law school can get pre-admittance to UNL College of Law.  They would apply to WSC, interview, and as long as they keep their GPA up and get a good score on the LSAT, they have a seat saved for them at UNL Law.  Scholarships will be available to those receiving the spots. Nebraska State College System Scholarships - Chadron, Peru, or Wayne State Colleges - The application website is www.nscs.edu . Board of Trustee's Scholarship - This scholarship is full in-state tuition renewable for four years.  Requirements:  Minimum ACT of 25. January 15th

Peru State College - Peru offers a wide range of scholarships for prospective students. peru.edu/admissions

Wayne State College Special Abilities Art Scholarship - Scholarships are awarded to students who have shown exceptional artistic merit at the high school level.  Recipients of this scholarship must attend Wayne State College in the fall and major in art with a concentration in Studio Art, Graphic Design, or K-12 Art Education.  Deadline is January 2016.  www.wsc.edu/schools/ahu/artd/scholarships_finaid/

Army ROTC National High School Scholarships-For students attending University of Nebraska-Lincoln or University of Nebraska- Kearney.  Requirements for scholarship include: Must be a U.S. citizen, between ages 17- 26; Have a high school GPA of at least 2.50; have a high school diploma or equivalent; score at least a 920 on SAT (math/verbal) or 19 on ACT (excluding the required writing test scores); meet physical standards; agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on active duty or in a reserve component. UNL Scholarships-In order to be in the running for the UNL freshmen scholarships students must have completed their UNL application with the personal statement for all of their service, leadership, global and diversity scholarships.  Students can apply to UNL by visiting their website January 15th   https://financialaid.unl.edu/scholarships

STEM Scholarships and Lower Housing Costs - Due June 12 - $2,000 For students enrolling at UNL for the Fall 2024 semester.  Must be majoring in Engineering, Architecture, or schiences such as Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, mathematics and other related fields)  For more information email Info.Request@TriangleUNL.org
