Hello! This is my 7th year at DCS Schools, my 6th year as the School Counselor here at DCS and my 17th year in education. I am a southwest Nebraska native.  I live outside of Stratton, NE with my husband and 3 children but I am originally from Indianola, NE and a graduate of Republican Valley High School.  I attended Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa where I earned my Associate of Arts Degree and played volleyball competing in the NJCAA National tournament both years. I continued my education and volleyball career at Chadron State College earning my Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with an option in Human Services and my Master's degree in Community Counseling with an endorsement in School Counseling.  While at Chadron State I was a para at one of the elementary schools as well as the Graduate Assistant for the Chadron State Volleyball team and the Chadron State Student Success Services team.

 I enjoy spending time with my family as much as possible, we love the outdoors and making goat milk soap with goat's milk from our very own goats!! My husband runs a large cow/calf operation and puts up alfalfa in the summer.  I also really enjoy watching students grow into wonderful, respectful participants of our society!  I am always looking forward to a positive, fun-filled school year!
