FMS School Counseling Mission Statement
The mission of Fairplay Middle School’s Counseling Department is to advocate for all students and to provide students with a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate counseling program that empowers students to achieve their maximum potential. The program focuses on providing equity and access within an accepting space that encourages the highest level of student achievement through growth in academic, personal/social, and career development. School counselors collaborate with staff, parents, and community members to create a safe and supportive environment in which all students may become responsible learners and decision-makers as they prepare for their future.

All students from Fairplay Middle School strive for excellence as they become the next generation of leaders.  They are equipped with the tools necessary to advocate for themselves, problem solve, form healthy relationships, and be functional contributors to society. They are able to function and adapt within their community using their unique strengths and talents in which they can strive to be the best version of themselves.
