“Face-to-face” interaction and includes the application of counseling, consultation, or human development skills.
Service provided on behalf of students as a result of the school counselors' interactions with others including referrals for additional assistance, consultation and collaboration with parents, teachers, other educators and community organizations.
Short-term counseling interventions to resolve immediate conflicts/problems, respond to crisis events, and intervene in school-specific situations that disrupt learning.
The purpose of the advisory council is to provide feedback on program goals, review program results, make recommendations, and advocate for the school counseling program.
We will meet twice a year.
Members include:
Parents/Guardians Administrative Staff (Principal and Vice Principals)
School Social Worker
Teachers
Student Representatives
Community Members
Mental Health Professional
