Perception is how we interpret sensory information; what we see, hear, feel, taste, and smell. It's the raw data that our senses gather. On the other hand, perspective is the lens through which we view and make sense of that sensory data. It's the mental filter that colors our experiences.
Perspective: Your perspective is the way you see something. If you think that toys corrupt children's minds, then from your perspective a toy shop is an evil place. Perspective has a Latin root meaning "look through" or "perceive," and all the meanings of perspective have something to do with looking.
Perception vs. Perspective:
Your perception is your ability to perceive and your perceptions are what you have perceived. A single thing which you have perceived is a perception.
Perceive, the verb which underlies the noun perception, can refer either to the body getting sensory impressions (sight, taste, hearing, smell, touch) or to the mind understanding the world.
Perspective is the angle from which you perceive, based on your point of view. Point of view can be literal:
Gratitude: Gratitude is when you feel thankful for the good things in your life. Gratitude is taking a moment to reflect on how lucky you are when something good happens, whether it's small or big.

What is academic tenacity or grit?
Lastly, tenacity is all about never giving up. Staying persistent in the pursuit of one's goals without quitting is one of the key components of what grit truly means. A student's grit and determination can push them towards their goals.
Courage: Courage involves making good choices in the face of fear or obstacles. It's another term for bravery. Remember: Bravery doesn't mean fearlessness. It means we do not let fear hold us back from exploring new opportunities, developing our skills, and doing what is right.
