Evans has been an integral part of the DCS family since its establishment in 2003, contributing in various capacities. Her most recent position was as the Community School and Covid Manager.

Ms. Evans takes pleasure in fostering connections between the students of JYK-DCS and the community, working collaboratively with school staff, students, parents, and community stakeholders. Her dedication revolves around building knowledge, forging connections, and garnering support for both the community and school.

This year marks a new chapter for Ms. Evans as she assumes the role of Character Development Instructor, returning full circle to her roots in education where she initially taught lifeskills in the Mantua Community. Ms. Evans is thrilled to embark on this new journey, eager to engage students in meaningful ways. Her aspiration is that her contributions will guide students towards becoming outstanding individuals and responsible citizens within our community.
