Grades 4th-8th should click below to take the personality test. This information can be used to help develop their vision boards. Students will be given time in class to do the test as well. Once the get their results, they should be forward to Ms. Evans at pevans@dcsschool.com to be graded.

Community Service Projects: Past Due: 11/30/23 Bring a pair of new socks in for each year old you are. ( example if you are 11 years old, bring in 11 pair of socks. (Both adult and chidren socks are needed.
Character Building Challenges: Due: 12/08/23
Interview 3 members of your family. This can be immediate family or extended family. Ask them the following questions:
1) What do you value most about family?
2) What is your favorite family tradition?
3) What values and or traditions are most important for you to pass down to your family?

Find or write an affirmation or mantra that reflects who you are as a person. Email it to pevans@dcsschool.com. Put in the subject line Challenge| Your Room Number| Your Name
Bring it to class ready to present and explain what it means to you. (Grades 5th thru 8th must be typewritten)
Affirmation: affirmations are short, encouraging statements that you can use to create a more positive frame of mind.
Mantra: It is typically a positive phrase or statement that you use to affirm the way you want to live your life. Its purpose is to provide motivation and encouragement to you when you need to focus your mind to achieve a goal.
This test is for all 5th thru 8th grade students.
