Meet Mr. Arraiz

Hi! I'm Mike Arraiz!

I am battle born, raised in the valley after my parents settled in Gardnerville from the Basque country. Being raised in an immigrant household, I was taught the importance of opportunity and therefore I am very patriotic and thankful for the many things that we are afforded, including putting an emphasis on a right to a free education for all children. I cherish a small community and am reminded daily of the beauty of our valley when I see the mountains that surround us. My passion has always been sports and the outdoors whether for hiking, riding or my favorite family/friend event, hunting.
