Hola! My name is Jen tucker. I began teaching in the regular education classroom and transitioned into Art in 2011. I always enjoyed Art as a child, as well as, with Math and Science. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Elementary Education and Lesley University with a MA in Curriculum and Instruction: Creative Arts.  Like any art teacher, I love to draw, paint and create, making me a walking encyclopedia of stain removal techniques should you ever need any advice. What you might be surprised to learn is that I am a mom, wife, and cancer survivor. I love to work in the garden, camp with friends and family, and enjoy white water kayaking, canyoneering and my newest passion in climbing.

My name is Samantha Walker, and this is my third year teaching! I've lived in Colorado my whole life and graduated from MSU Denver this past spring. I've been involved in music for as long as I can remember, whether it was singing in the elementary choir or playing a variety of instruments in middle and high school band growing up; music is in my blood. I currently perform with the Highlands Ranch Concert Band playing clarinet. I enjoy experiencing all kinds of music, watching movies and reading in my spare time and when I'm not doing that, I'm loving my two cats, Chloe and Mia, at home. I'm so excited to have the opportunity to teach at Sedalia and to meet and learn from all the students I'll meet both now and in the years to come.

My name is Ashley Collins, and I’m thrilled to be the Physical Education (PE) teacher at Sedalia Elementary School for grades K-6. This is my fourth year in education and my third year specializing in PE. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Sports Science from Concordia University Irvine.

Originally from Southern California, I moved to Colorado three years ago and have loved every moment of it. Outside of teaching, I’m passionate about working out and spending time outdoors. I also enjoy relaxing with my friends, family, and my husband.

I’m excited to introduce your children to the fundamentals of physical movement and help them develop essential skills that will benefit them for a lifetime. Looking forward to an active and fun year ahead!

Hello! My name is Bill Richmond. I have been working in Douglas County School District since 1998. Over the years I have had the privilege to work in a variety of roles starting as an E.A. for SSN, elementary technology teacher, classroom teacher in grades 3rd, 4th, and a combo 3/4. I am loving the opportunity to manage the library and technical devices in the school while teaching Coding to students in the afternoon.

Outside of school, I live in Castle Rock with my wife, Kirstin, and 14 year old son who attends high school. My step-daughter graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and currently works in Tulsa, OK supporting students. Some of my hobbies include mountain biking and taking our dog for long walks with my wife.
