Meet Ms. Whiteley

Hi! My name is Alison Whiteley and I am so excited to be at Pine Lane Elementary! I am originally from San Fransisco but have lived in Colorado since 1985. I have two dogs an Italian Greyhound and a Greyhound who I take camping and climbing 14ers. I love spending time with my family in the mountains where I can spoil my two nephews.

I graduated from CU Colorado Springs with an emphasis in Special Education. Immediately following, I completed my Masters of Education and have been teaching since 2003. I achieved National Boards of Professional Teaching in Exceptional Needs in 2011 and hold endorsements in Early Childhood Special Education and Linguistically Diverse Education. I am trained in Yoshimoto Orton-Gillingham and Wilson Reading System.

I want students to be critical thinkers and ready for real word experiences. In my classroom, I believe that all students have a wonderful opportunity to learn and excel!
