PCE BASE is housed in the cafeteria at Prairie Crossing Elementary. All children must be registered with the Prairie Crossing B.A.S.E. Program and must be signed in by a parent or guardian at least 18 years of age.
Before School Program
The Before School Program provides children with a safe, welcoming environment to "wake up" and ease into their school day. Children may choose from a variety of games and activities, enjoy a snack brought from home, complete homework, read, socialize with friends, and more. On select days, children may also have opportunities to use the gym, playground, or other school spaces.

After School Program
The After School Program provides children with a fun, engaging environment where they can unwind after school and transition into a positive evening with their families.
When the school day ends, children report to B.A.S.E., attendance is taken and they can eat a snack brought from home. After all children have arrived and been accounted for, they may choose from a variety of activities, including:

Arts & Crafts
Snack Time
Recess/Outdoor Play
Quiet Corner & Reading
LEGO Building Area
STEM Activities
Board Games & Puzzles
Fun Friday Activities, including Nintendo Switch and iPads

Full-Day Program
B.A.S.E. Full-Day Programs are offered on select school closure days and during summer.
Hours of Operation: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Full-day programming includes a variety of engaging activities, games, crafts, outdoor play, field trips, and opportunities for children to learn, explore, and have fun in a safe and supervised environment.
