Hi Second Grade Families, 

Hello students and families! I am so excited to start the year off with you all. I am a first year teacher and graduated from Colorado STate University. I was born and raised in Colorado from Littleton, so I am glad to be back in the area.

I grew up doing taekwando and wrestling and that began my love for teaching. I was a head instructor at my karate studio and assisted with the little kids wrestling practices. In this I realized my passion for helping others and specifically teaching children.

In my free time I still do taekwondo. I earned my 4th degree black belt back in December of 2024 and I teach classes or assist with classes here and there. I love being outside playing volleyball, paddle boarding, or going to the gym. 

A few of my favorite things 

• My favorite color is green. 

• I love those hard strawberry candies that have the jelly inside. 

• I love coffee and admittedly energy drinks as well. 

I am excited to teach your students the ins and outs of second grade math, reading, writing, science, and social studies. I am looking forward to having an amazing year and I am looking forward to meeting all of our students and their families.
