Mrs. Husband and Classroom
About Mrs. Husband
I have been teaching for 25 years in California and Colorado. In those years, I have been lucky enough to teach children in first, second, and third grades. I have taught in Palos Verdes, California, Aurora, Colorado, and here at Arrowwood Elementary for 20 years. My favorite thing about teaching is that everyday is a new day. With each day, every child makes steps forward in their own personal growth. I enjoy being a part of their achievements. My goal for each school year is to help each child grow as much as possible.
Aside from teaching, I have been married for 21 years and a mother of 2 beautiful children, Ash 19 and Amie 16. They make me smile each day. As a family, we enjoy skiing, cooking, gardening, going out to new restaurants, spending time with our dog, Leo, and traveling.
Favorites: Gardening/flowers/herbs, cooking, casual hikes, skiing, reading, dark chocolate, fruit, and seafood restaurants.
"Today is a great day to learn something new."
