Other Classroom Questions:

What is your homework policy? See the Homework tab  for more information.

When is library day?  Wednesdays

*Please contact the librarian with questions regarding your child's books.

How do we celebrate birthdays in your class? We love celebrating birthdays in class. Your family may bring in a treat for classmates, if you wish. (We will celebrate your child's birthday whether you choose to bring in a treat or not.) Please email me about arranging a day to send in treats that will work for both of us.  If the treat is food, it needs to be peanut-free, store-bought, and easy to pass out. No sheet cakes please..  Mini cupcakes are perfect since the large ones are too big for the kids to eat.  Cookies are also always a great idea. There is no need to send in napkins or plates. Small goodie bags or trinkets are great options as well. You could always donate a book to the classroom in your child's name instead of sending in treats. We will have your child sign and date the book for kids to enjoy for years to come.

What do I do if we are going on a family trip and will be missing school? 1. Please email the school office staff and me with the dates that your child will be gone. 2. I will send home some math pages for your child and other activities. 3. Bring things to read and a journal to write in. 4. Return the math pages to me when your child returns to school. Please give me about a week's notice if possible.
