Aztec Expectations and Policies

Late Work: Students are expected to turn their work in on time. Late work will be reflected in Work Habits grades.

Reading Books: Students are required to have a reading book (electronic or paper) with them at all times. Electronic books need to be on tablets or e-readers, not phones.

Phones: Phones should be turned off or on Airplane Mode and in backpacks. Phones should not be out in the pod area during passing periods.

Planner: Students are expected to write down homework assignments and upcoming due dates for tests/quizzes and projects. Planners should be brought to class each day.

Retake Policy: Students have the opportunity to retake certain content knowledge assignments, quizzes, or test. This is at the teacher's discretion.

If you miss school:

Absences: When students are absent, they should: Check teachers' Google Classrooms to locate assignments, worksheets, agendas, and/or work missed. Before asking teachers about missing work, check Google Classroom. See teachers if more clarification is needed.

Homework Routines:

During this time, homework may be assigned at various times to allow students to practice and review skills. Students will be expected to turn in homework according to due dates.
