Rest Time
Your child will have their own cot for rest time in the classroom. Rest time is for an hour and a half after lunch. Many children phase out of nap time during this year of Pre-K, so if your child does not fall asleep after 35 minutes, we will offer quiet activities in the classroom. We are not allowed to keep children awake during rest time or wake them up if they fall asleep.
We will provide a cot sheet for your child at the beginning of the year. This will be sent home on their last scheduled day of the week to be washed and returned.Â

Each classroom has one private restroom inside the classroom for the children to use. We have set times throughout the day where we ask children to try, but we also leave it up to them to know when they need to use the restroom. Reminder that children must be fully toilet trained before joining our program. Due to licensing rules and regulations staff are unable to assist with any restroom procedures.
There is a sink in the restroom as well as two more sinks in our classrooms.
