Playground

This playground is the one you see on the corner of Baneberry Ct. and Westridge Village Pkwy. This is the only playground the Little Pups use at CCE, as it is licensed for the ages of children in our program. We share this playground with the District Preschool Program and CCE Kindergarten, however; when it's our recess time, only the Little Pups students are outside.

We have a morning and afternoon recess. When the weather is nicer, we like to add a 3rd later recess. Outdoor play and large motor movement is vital to development during this age, so we soak up every chance for sun and fresh air we can get! When the weather is rainy, snowy, or it's simply too cold to go outside, we have "Indoor Recess." Indoor Recess can include children's free choice time and occasionally incorporating large motor activities with media (for example: GoNoodle, CosmicKids Yoga, or a 20 minute cartoon that supplements our theme for the week).
