Expectations in the classroom

I expect you to have materials- pencil, notebook, colored pencils, and a binder. We put music and paperwork in our binders so it is really important that you have one! 1 inch binder is ideal! You will keep binders in class as I have plenty of binder slots!
I expect you to get your work done in the time that is allowed

You are expected to attend concerts
I expect you to try your best!
I expect you to be respectful of yourself, classmates, teachers, administrators, and other adults.

6th GRADERS

As you can see from the schedule below, there are two concerts on the same night. It is important to leave as quickly as possible when your child's concert is done. This will allow the other students and their parents to get here for call time!

1st Quarter Parents and Students:

Concert date- October 3rd Call time is at 4:45pm and concert time 5pm-. Please bring your child 15 (4:45pm) minutes before the concert begins to warm up with all the 6th graders.

2nd Quarter Parents and Students

Concert Date -TBA- Call time is 4:45pm and concert time is 5:00pm- Please bring your child 15 minutes (4:45pm) before the concert begins to warm up with all 6th graders

3rd Quarter Parents and Students

Concert Date- TBA- Call time is at 4:45pm and concert time is at 5:00pm- Please bring your child 15 minutes (4:45pm) before the concert begins to warm up with all 6th graders.

4th Quarter Parents and Students:

Concert Date- May 13th- Call time is 4:45pm and concert starts at 5:00pm- Please bring your child 15 minutes (4:45pm) before the concert begins to warm up with all 6th graders

8th AND 7th GRADE PARENTS AND STUDENTS PLEASE READ INFORMATION BELOW !

DRESS ATTIRE

GIRLS:

all black attire
- Dresses black dress is just fine. it can have a little bit of sparkle.
- thin straps can be worn if there is a cardigan or a blazer is worn over them
- please make sure dress is right at the knee. I will not accept anything above the top of the knee
Shoes
- Black flats-
- Opened toed shoes are fine (black). '
- Heels are only permitted if they are an inch or less.
- Black tennis shoes are fine as long they are all black.
- Any shoes with light colors or decoration will not work for the concert.

BOYS:

All Black Attire

Black button up shirt short or long sleeve is fine.
Polos are acceptable
black shoes- I would rather shoes be all black
Black dress pants or black jeans
Cimarron red tie is preferred- if you cannot find one, it is ok!

**Please do NOT wear any perfumes or colognes- sometimes that can make us nauseous when we are on a stage with bright lights as it will get hot.
