WEEK 2-
I cannot believe the first week of summer is in the books! We had such a fun week with a glow dance party and ending the week at Chuck E Cheese! We had a blast meeting all our new friends too.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
*We still have lots of kiddos without a face stick sunscreen! Please make sure to pick one up and bring it in. We will label it and keep it for the summer. We apply sunscreen multiple times a day. Having the facestick saves so much time when we have 50+ kids to apply sunscreen to. Siblings will still need their own please! Thanks so much for your help!
*We also had lots of kiddos this week with no water bottles or snacks. Please remember to pack a water bottle and two snacks everyday!
*The Rockies game on Thursday is one of the only field trips where we do not get back until 4:00PM. Please plan on packing a sack lunch this day. Kids can bring a small backpack with ONE ZIPPER only.

Change of PARK due to the water not being on at Centennial Park

Come dressed in your swim suit (for the girls- one piece swim suits are harder to use the restroom when the kiddos have to wear their BASE shirt over them)

Bring an extra set of clothes to change into when we return

Rockies Game-BRING A SACK LUNCH! **Late arrival time-see below**
Arrive by 930 AM

Wear a hat and GOOD WALKING SHOES (No sandals, crocks or slides please)
Bring a SACK LUNCH!!
A small backpack is okay if it has one zipper or a pull string bag
An off site waiver is required
Wear your Base field trip shirt
Bring 2 snacks and a water bottle
We will be back by 4:00PM (as long as we do not hit traffic)
Friday 6\12
Bounce Empire-BRING A LUNCH
Arrive by 8:30AM (we will be leaving promptly at 9:00AM)

We also recommend long sleeve and pants if you can to prevent burns from the bounce castles

MORE IMPORTANT REMINDERS
BASE hours are 7:00AM-5:30PM. When we say be here by a certain time, that just means either be there by that time so you don’t miss the bus and expectations if we have a field trip, or if we don’t have a field trip that time is when the activity for the day starts. You can always drop off before that time. And I always like to add when the day ends so everyone knows when all activities will be finished for the day!
Please remember that we close the calendar every Friday at 3:00PM for the next week.
Just a heads up when you have to pack a lunch…some days the lunches have to stay on the bus, or we are out at the pools, so please be aware when packing things like Lunchables. I have seen the cheese melt in them. Throwing in an ice pack is always a good idea on these days.
At pick up, please encourage your child to help pick up their toys they are playing with before you leave. We have lots of kiddos get picked up and then tons of stuff are just left out. Thanks so much for helping with this!

To help keep everyone’s belongings safe, we kindly ask that toys and anything from home stay at home unless there is a special day where they are invited to be brought to BASE. If a toy\item from home does come to school, please remind your child that it should remain in their backpack during BASE time. We have plenty of fun activities and materials here for everyone to enjoy! Our goal is to make sure all students have a great time, and we would hate for any special items to be misplaced or accidentally damaged. Thank you so much for your support and understanding! This includes trading cards, stuffed animals, sports balls etc.
