Staff Bio:
Hello! My name is Chelley Dansereau. I am the general education teacher for Copper Mesa Preschool B. A fun fact about me is that "Chelley" is a nickname for Michelle. When I'm not teaching, I can be found spending time with my wonderful dogs, playing volleyball, exploring nature, or spending time with family and friends.
This will be my 8th year at CME and my 9th year in DCSD! As of 2021, I have experience in both in-person and e-learning instruction and have received an Apple Award.
My journey to teaching started very early on with a LOVE for children that continues to grow every day. After earning my Bachelor of Science in Psychology, I went on to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education and now I couldn't be happier! I enjoy it so much so that in 2024 I started a masters program in Early Childhood Special Education. I am truly thankful to be able to love what I do for a living!
I look forward to getting to know each of you and your children throughout this school year. We will have a lot of fun!

Staff Bio:
Hello preschool families,
My name is Rachel Polyak. I will be the Educational Assistant for the amazing Ms. Chelley! My role is to get to know each new and returning preschool family in order to encourage and support the individual needs of each of the children within the classroom. Preschool is such an important time in the lives of little ones and becomes the foundation of their educational journey!
A little about me; I’m married and have two children. My son will be a sophomore at Thunder Ridge High School. My daughter will be a Third grader here at Copper Mesa Elementary. I have ten years of experience working with preschoolers. I was fortunate to be able to stay home with my kids while they grew up and gained independence but as you’ll see, I am passionate about fostering young minds and felt a pull to get back into teaching!
I have been a part of the Copper Mesa community and I am very familiar with the staff, children and families. I’m incredibly grateful to be working with preschoolers again and to be a part of such a strong team of Preschool teachers!
Thank you for trusting us with your little ones, this will be a GREAT year!
Love,
Mrs. Rachel
