Philosophy

A physically educated student will be provided with the skills and knowledge that will aid them in their journey to leading a healthy lifestyle. I believe Physical Education class should be a significant experience for all students where they become well-informed on the skills and knowledge necessary to lead a physically fit lifestyle. Moreover, I believe students should be provided with a positive and welcoming environment where fear of failure does not prevent participation. The environment will promote acceptance of diverse skill abilities and encouragement of peers will be endorsed. It is my mission to help students identify their interests in physical activities that they can enjoy participating in and outside of the school setting. Along with helping students overcome any potential physical or mental burdens that prevent them from leading a physically fit lifestyle. It is not enough to just provide students with the skills they need to stay physically fit, but also help them develop a sincere value for physical activity for health, enjoyment, challenge, self-expression, and social interaction.
