COURSE DESCRIPTION:
In this course, students will learn how to create stories and games using computer coding concepts. Students will learn the basics of a computer system, from hardware to operating systems. They will learn problem-solving techniques using computational thinking concepts. This course will prepare students for entry-level computer science high school courses.
Device Requirements:
As Discovering Computer Science is hosted in a fully functioning computer lab, no additional technology is required in the classroom. Students are encouraged to have access to a personal/family device at home to continue or complete any unfinished assignments, as the majority of the content is delivered and managed digitally.
