Welcome to work at "DC's Business Department" (DCBP)

All of Mrs. Britton's business classes are Simulated Workplaces (SW), where students LEARN & USE workplace skills. You will build your business skills through leadership opportunities and the classroom environment. You will have the opportunity to lead with one of the following positions:

Classroom Manager/Row Managers - starts class each day (especially with a sub), answering questions from students, answering the door & phone by
saying "Welcome to DCBP. How may I help you?"
HR Manager - take attendance for the day, understand basic procedures & train any new students, remind students to clock-in if a sub is covering
Safety Manager - keep floor area and isles clean of obstacles and tripping hazards, also monitor electrical cords under the counters to be sure they are not lose or laying on the floor
6S Manager - oversee that computer areas are kept clean and desk areas, as well as common areas & cabinets well organized
Equipment Manager - keep paper in the printer, help students print to right printer, pass out head phones/ear buds to students when needed, making sure all items are returned at the end of class
